This past weekend several of my teammates hosted a "It's a Cheesy Christmas Celebration" and invited us to wear our "Cheesiest Christmas Outfits."

Now being the fashionista that I am (having only two friends currently nominating me as a candidate for TLC's "What Not to Wear"), I simply didn't have anything in my closet that qualifed as a cheesy Christmas outfit. Of course, I am talking about my closet here in Calgary ...

So I found this lovely (and very sparkly) sweater on the rack at Value Village. Now don't be fooled ... this glittering garment didn't just come ready-to-wear. No sir. Those decorative chains of Christmas lights, the larger individual bulbs and the bells were all sewn on by hand by yours truly.

Let's just say, I was a contender.
