Well ... I mean ... I did have a few glasses of wine (with an American lady who owns a restaurant in Mexico) on the train from Vancouver to Seattle ...

toilet

... then chilled out with my buddy James in all the advant garde architecture and design that is the Seattle Public Library ...

... then flew from Seattle to Alaska, where I visited one of my favourite places in the world ...

... did three days of simulator flying and ground school with my favourite flight instructor ...

medallion

... and executed, among other things, a somewhat impressive holding procedure with a parallel entry over the Big Lake VOR on the PCATD at the Medallion Foundation ...

... and got signed off for recurrency on my instrument rating ...

logbook

... then went to a fashion show with my ex-roommate-turned-fashion-expert, who was emceeing ...

... and followed it up by pushing a cart filled with $400 pairs of boots up the middle of a downtown Anchorage street at 1 a.m. ...

Then I went and got a pedicure ...

... and shopped at the first Target to open in Alaska ...

...then got back on a plane, flew to Seattle, got on a shuttle to Bellingham, where my husband-who-forgot-to-bring-his-passport-along-with-him didn't pick me up, so I got a cheap hotel room, stayed the night, then took a shuttle to the Bellingham airport, went flying with a new flight instructor and got signed off on my Biennial Flight Review ...

... after which I got picked up by my husband-who-remembered-to-bring-his-passport, and drove to Vancouver where I attended a B.C. Lions pre-game street party and signed autographs for my adoring fans ...

... then tried to hold my lunch down as I watched the football game from a seat that was a little too close to the cheerleaders.

Then I went home, fit six weeks worth of clothes into a carry-on suitcase, packed up the car with my sled and sliding gear, dragged my sorry butt out of bed at 7 a.m. to go vote, where I DID NOT get an "I voted" sticker ...

... then hopped in my car, drove to Calgary ...

... where I have been sliding every day since last Wednesday ...

... and have developed a severe case of what we call "sled head" and which feels like what I imagine Shaken Baby Syndrome feels like, except without the baby part. And hopefully without the brain damage part.

So, yeah ... not much really ... man, I wish I had some interesting things to write about. My life is so boring.
