"Champagne?!? What is there to celebrate?
Crumbly-ness?"

DEC.15 | 67 Reasons to love Germany
Today we went to the oldest Christmas Market in Germany, in the city of Dresden. The thing has been running since 1434. My North American head exploded at the thought. Seriously, Columbus hadn't even started rowing his boat across the ocean yet, and Dresden was busy bratwursting it up in the city centre. Reason number 67 that Germany totally rocks. (Reasons number 1-64 are each a variety of sausage, reason number 65 is the Autobahn and reason number 66 is that you can use the word "scheiss" acceptably in pretty much any context).
At the market, I tried a new delicacy ... the Schneeball ... or "the Snowball" ... a crusty pastry ball dipped in icing sugar.
Yes. It is as completely messy as it sounds.
