JUN. 27 | 2009 Squamish Garage Sailing Circuit: Week 9
Summary: Man ... take two weeks off of the Squamish Garage Sailing and even toilet paper would seem like a good find ... I have definitely been in garage sailing withdrawal, but I think I made up for it today ... great stuff ... even better deals.
The tally:
- 2 jar candles ($1.50)
- Clip-on Levi's watch ($0.25)
- Travel cribbage board ($0.25)
- Mensa Genius Book ($0.25)
- Cat Tree ($1)
- Computer Bag ($2)
- Scotch Goblet ($0.50)
- 80 Words in 25 Languages Book (Free)
- T-shirt ($0.25)
Total: $6.00
Husband Tolerance Alert Level: Very Low
The Husband was pleased enough with the Scotch goblet that he turned a blind eye to the computer bag (one which I believe brings my bag total up to somewhere between "more-than-a-single-person-needs" and "Able-to-supply-the-U.S.-Military."
Find of the Week:
While I am overjoyed with the cat tree (which generally costs $50 at the pet shop) and the unused jar candles (which can run somewhere between 10 and 20 bucks), I am particularly proud of one specific find this week. This is the jewel in my garage sailing crown ...
Enough said.
