JUN. 26 | 2010 Squamish Garage Sailing Circuit: Week 8
Summary: Yeah, yeah, been out of touch for awhile, so I'm just skipping ahead to week 8 with full details. But if you are really that desperate to find out what I got during weeks 1-7 of the 2010 Squamish Garage Sailing Season, don't get your knickers in a knot, I remembered to take pictures of my weekly wares.
Okay, so today was a nice, sunny day, and the driveway stashes were ripe for the picking.
My gem this week was a brand new Lululemon yoga tank that I paid a reasonable ten dollars for, which, much to my benefit, the proprietor had purchased on sale but neglected to try on. And I convinced her to throw in a headband that, coincidentally, matches.
The tally:
- Lululemon yoga tank and headband ($10)
- Jacob Sweater (50 cents) - This price also included two Hawaiian shirts that, ummm ... conveniently (???) fit this week's garage-sailing partner, aka The Husband, and whose acquisition were vehemently protested by myself, alas to no avail, when they were offered up at this basement-bargain price.
- The Gulag Archipelago by Solzhenitsyn, The Diary of Anne Frank and a bottle of ginger citrus home fragrance oil ($2)
- Cinnamon candle and Seasons of Inspiration Poetry book ($1)
- Neil Diamond Greatest Hits ($1)
- Two bandanas (Free)
Total: $14.50
NOTE: this doesn't include the $10 flat-panel monitor, the $1 air compression hose and a free computer game controller that Hawaiian-shirt Husband picked up. But if you want to hear about HIS purchases, then you'll have to convince him to blog about them. Otherwise you only get to hear about my finds, and those of his that I take issue with. For example, Hawaiian FREAKIN' shirts.
