Remember my busted sled? Well, I took a quick trip up to Edmonton this week to visit Jay's aunt and uncle. It just so happens that Uncle Werner was a homebuilder (a frame-houses-and-install-cabinets kind of homebuilder, as opposed to the not-a-homewrecker kind of homebuilder, although he would qualify as the latter type as well) and he just so happens to have a bunch of tools in his garage, like say, a power sander and fiberglass patch kit. I just so happened to mention that I may have busted up my sled the previous weekend and he just so happened to inform me that he might possess the tools and skills necessary to repair my previously-mentioned broken sled. He just so happened to have absolutely nothing better to do for three days, and so Uncle Werner just so happened to be able to fix my sled during my visit. What luck!

And that's absolutely how it all went down. It's not like I would just drive up to their doorstep uninvited, haul my sled into the garage and hand Uncle Werner his power sander.

Come on ... I at least invited myself over.
