After reading the Wikipedia entry* regarding post-modernism, I am pretty sure that my sister is right: Post-modernism is retarded.

If I understand correctly, post-modernism is essentially an indefinable concept that when defined is anything that is complex, contradictory, ambiguous and is manifested according to unclear, decentralized and disorganized principles.

Which means that if you have no idea what I just said, then you understand the idea of post-modernism. I also believe this means that the following is, by indefinable definition, a classic example of post-modernism.

And so concludes my dissertation, as promised to my sister, regarding post-modernism.

And now I laugh at the fact that my sister will spend her entire summer taking a class that actually includes the words "Post-Modernism" in the course title.

*By "reading" I mean getting far enough to realize that finishing the article would bring me no further along in my understanding of post-modernism than when I commenced. So, like, I might have almost finished the introduction.
