OH. MY. GOD. I don't think I have been this hot and bothered about a piece of metal and plastic since I got my new sled!

OK, so for the past couple months I have been been fighting with my labtop keyboard. Specifically with the B key, the C key, the D key, the X key and the K key. Oh and the SHIFT key. And sometimes the N key. And the number 1 key. Oh and the question mark. And the period.

Seeing that the horse actually froze to death, I'd hasten to say that bus stop boy makes a point here. Admittedly, I was tempted to run across the street and add a few choice words between "It's" and "cold."

You know you are truly Canadian when you are flipping through the channels and come upon Rita McNeil's Christmas Special and despite it being goofy and campy to a degree that is virtually ... no ... absolutely and completely ... indescribable, you simply cannot avert your eyes, let alone bring yourself to select a different channel. I think it's actually an act of treason for a Canadian to switch the channel once Rita McNeil's Christmas Special has come onto the screen.

November 30: Has anyone seen my flip flops and shorts? I am going to Calgary for the winter.

For anyone who even complained about their house being cold, come stay with us for a week in Squamish. That'll cure you.

My husband has our digital thermostat set to go up to a balmy 16 degrees when he gets up in the morning and comes home in the evening, and then it goes down to 12.5 degrees during the day and at night.
