I raced today in Park City, Utah in an invitational series. I was number two off in my first heat, and number six off in my second heat. Oh, wait, who's that racing in position 14? Oh, Tristan Gale? Hmmm ... where have I heard that name before? Oh yeah. SHE WAS THE 2002 OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST IN SKELETON.

Let's just say that she beat me.

So, I am back in Park City, Utah, for a series of invitational races, and I am sporting a spanking new training suit. Let's just say that when it comes to video review, there is no mistaking me on the screen, even at 120 kph.

Tomorrow is the first of our two races here in Park City. The track here is fast. Like, oh, say standard Montreal highway speeds fast. I clocked 124.1 kph in training today. And that's after arguments with two somewhat cantankerous corners, which like to leave me with some black and blue souvenirs before letting me by.

So if I manage enough coordination tomorrow to steer the sled away from the walls (as opposed to, you know, into them ... ) I am hoping to break the sound barrier.

Next and last stop on the America's Cup circuit is ... nope ...not Salt Lake City. We are actually in Park City, just southeast of Salt Lake.
