So I am walking around downtown Vancouver this morning, biding my time until I have to pick someone up, and notice that the Olympic Countdown Clock in fromt of the art museum says 333 days to go. 333 days and 3 hours. 333 days and 3 hours and 38 minutes.

Hey man ... I didn't go to university to not be able to figure out that in 5 minutes, for a split-second (well, technically for a whole second ... ) a mind-blowing collection of threes is going to appear before my very eyes.

So we were driving around the other day and Jason says to me "What's that noise?"

And I am like "What noise?"

And he turns off the radio, looks at me like I have my brain stuck in a blender and says "The muffler."

I reflect on the extremely loud, rumbling, you-have-a-hole-the-size-of-your-muffler-in-your-muffler noise that my car is emitting.

And he's like "You didn't notice that sound?"

Last Saturday I opened up the back door to sunshine and melting snow, and thought to myself ... Self ... do you know what this means? IT'S SANDAL TIME!

There are few daily tasks that I find more tedious and irritating than tying shoes (I know, I know ... it's a rough life I lead).

I checked my mail the other day, and found mine, and Jason's, token there-is-an-election-coming-up-in-May-make-sure-you-are-on-the-voters-list letter from Elections BC. I also got ones for Deborah Fell, Robert Hartley and Dennis, Sherry and Todd Dubber.

OK, People of the Intertubes, I need some input ...
